The woman has a
lot of experience working with colors. She discusses every color in the rainbow
and describes various moods that each color evokes.
Red
psychologically evokes or creates a mood of being excited, energized,
adventurous and ready to go. Physically it evokes a feeling of warmth. It is
the most intense color whether you are expressing hate or love. Red physically
increases blood pressure and heart rate.
The next color in
the rainbow is orange. Orange evokes mixed reactions. It is daring and
enthusiastic. It inspires ideas. Physically it warms and energizes the body. It
even stimulates appetite.
The next color is
yellow. It is been known for comforting. Yellow is uplifting and stimulating.
It has the same effect that sun has on us. Yellow creates a feeling of
happiness and joy. It stimulates one’s imagination and makes them wonder. It
even promotes learning. Physically yellow can be overwhelming if it is too
bright, but when a little white is added to lighten it up, it will simply
brighten up one’s day. Yellow inspires us to think of nature while green
reminds us of rebirth of spring.
Green seems a
neutral color since it surrounds us in nature. It is a fresh color, symbol of
life and new beginnings. Physiologically green creates an atmosphere of
unstressed mood that is definitely a great feeling. Good health is a physical
response to green. It makes one feel positive and relaxed. It even promotes a
desire to read. Cool fresh green room helps to speed up reading.
Next cool color is
blue. Mood of blue is emotionally charming, cool and makes you feel a little
more loveable. Like green it is a neutral color; it is seen almost daily in the
sky. Physically blue reduces our heart rate.
Purple is a royal
color that is at the bottom of the rainbow. In purple room one finds
him/herself in a little playful mood. Purple evokes mood of clarity and
sensuality. Physically purple is peaceful and smoothing. Purple reminds us of
royalty and nobility.
The last color is
white. Many people paint walls in white thinking that they are choosing the
color that is no color at all, when, in fact, they are doing just the opposite.
White is the presence of all colors together. It creates confusion, frustration
and boredom. Physically white color is unfriendly to the nervous system. People
are less productive and uncomfortable in white room.
Dear Evren,
YanıtlaSilI like your journal entry. You have described the effects of colors so vividly that I can imagine while I’m reading it. You have provided a lot of detail about the topic, and you have organized your entry with paragraphs and these paragraphs make your entry fluent. However, you can add some colorful pictures, and you can attract everybody’s attantion with them. I would like to read more about your ideas, your favourite color etc. On the other hand, I will be very pleasant to sharing your grammatical mistakes. Mainly, you have problems with articles. Let me show you your mistakes:
Sun- The sun
Purple evokes a/the mood…..
In a/the white room
It is been known… ? – I suppose you want to say “It has been known…”
All in all, I am sure that I will read your next journals with the same pleasure :)
